We have Heather Bailey's 'Nicey Jane' fat quarter bundles! These colours are so amazing, grab a bundle and make a very large quilt or several small projects, too much fun!

Summers End

We are busy filling the shop with all of the rich warm colours of fall. Just arrived are 'Summers End' precuts and yardage from Kansas Troubles. A list of fall classes is in the making, and a new block of the month is starting in October/November.

Pumpkin Peril!

Halloween!

Haunted Mansion precuts are here, have yourself a lovely (and yet slightly creepy), quilt done in time for Halloween! These colours are so festive without feeling juvenile, it is a beautiful blend of oranges purples, green and greys. Just have fun with it!

I can't resist this fabric, I've taken far too much of it home it is amazing! I stitched up a bed runner from the jelly roll, will post a picture once it's quilted, I'm hoping to hand quilt it (I said hoping), Reds and blues are my favourite combination.

Bali Pop Quilt

It's finished! I love this quilt, and the pattern is so much fun - this is the second one I've made, it just goes together so quickly.I kept the quilting simple so as not to take away from the beautiful fabrics. I think it worked!

Baby Quilts

The following blue and pink baby quilts were made from the same jelly roll! How come everything isn't this easy? You can have two quilts done in a weekend, and there are still enough strips left to do up a cute pillow or a matching bag!

Bali Pop Quilt

Dontcha just love purple and green? I started with a Bali Pop weeding out the strips that weren't purple or green enough and replaced them. This picture doesn't do the quilt justice, I will take a better one once I sew the binding on...

New Arrival! The very summery feeling of 'Make Life' is here, so fun and fresh in blues, reds and browns. I have a pattern picked out for this line, I'll give you a hint: circles and raw edge applique!

Martinique

Just arrived this week 3 sisters' new line 'Martinique', In soft shades of blues, corals and creams, this fabric has such a tropical feel. If you can't get away to the Carribean, try the next best thing with this beautiful fabric. I can't wait to make up a jelly roll quilt and maybe even a mini charm quilt!

New Location!

Yes, the rumors are true we have relocated to a great new downtown location!  I snapped a couple of quick pictures today, but I will take more next week. It is a great space, I just love the location and I've had a great response from customers and passers by. This bedding is April Cornell, and in the next picture are table toppers, runners, placemats and napkins from her Sunshine line, they just arrived today. Set yourself the prettiest table ever! I am so proud to be celebrating my 3rd birthday today! These colours are so soft and vintage looking. This quilt is just begging to go on a picnic or throw it over the back of your chair, so easy to live with. The finished size is 52.5 inches square, and takes just one day to make. I added a few random buttons and hand quilting, just to keep it casual. Kit is available for only $37.50.

Glace Quilt

I could'nt find the space to fit this entire quilt in, so here is half of it. Trust me the other half is just as nice! If I add an outer border which I might do, I will have a king size. The picture does'nt do this quilt justice, the colours really are beautiful.

Layer Cake Quilt

This quilt was alot of fun to make from one layer cake and one charm pack. The charm pack squares are sewn on using raw edge applique, which I love doing, and there is no precuttting of this project, making it a quick finish!

Frosted Memories Mystery Block of the Month

We are starting several Mystery Quilt Clubs in November, this Frosted Memories quilt is a mystery and block of the month combined. Pick up your block fabric each month with instructions and the cost is spread out through twelve months, includes borders. finished size is 69"x87". Cost is $15.00 each month. We also have a jelly roll mystery, you choose 2 jellyrolls, and sew one block each month, cost is $11.99 per month, and measures 62"x80". (72"x90" with border),  No we can't show you the quilts, it's a mystery!

Glace' Mystery Quilt

This mystery quilt will measure 84" square, and it is stunning! Come in monthly for your cutting and sewing instructions, This will run for 10 months. Registration begins November 1st, and you can join anytime as long as the fabric is available.

Rouenniers has arrived and it is beautiful, it has a french flavour and I love the casual feeling of this fabric, perfect for home dec, and even Christmas with it's country reds, my favourite!
